Boston Jewelers; A Self-Contained Store

By Ina Hunt

In Boston, one company has really stood out in the field of jewelry. This company is called Boston Jewelers Exchange, and has been in the jewelry business since the year 1922. For all this while, it has been the core dealer in diamonds and jewelry in the city and even beyond the borders of the city. Its main customers are both retail business people and jewelry stores in suburban regions. Dealers totaling one hundred and fifty five are all housed in one building. They specialize in items made from diamond and other related precious metals.

This tower houses jewelry wholesalers, manufacturers and retailers in one place. The fact that they are all housed in the same place is an advantage because it breads self-sustainability. Manufacturers have their materials within the building just like wholesalers and retailers; that have their customers within the building. Business, therefore, takes a very short period.

These businesses have existed in this city for so long, and everyone in this place is aware that is is the most loved jewelry center. Sellers have engaged in these dealings for nearly 40 years. They, therefore, do not require modern advertising methods to make themselves known. Rather, they only stick to the original values of good products and accountability. According to them, this strategy is the best for them to market their items.

The services here are quick since all the experts within this business are housed within the building. Buyers are able to get quality merchandise directly from their craftsmen. Every individual business within the house uses the last name of its owner. Besides, the level of interaction between customers and merchants is very high. This kind of organization helps in increasing the number of customers as a result of referrals from friends and family members.

Some of the retailers in this house include ADCO Diamond, Albert And Bead, Amoroso Jewelers, Barmakian Jewelers, Anglers Loan, Bedrosian Jewelers, Boston Buyers of Estate, Freedman jewelers, Arman jewelers and Dublin jewelry among many other dealers. They all sell and buy their items in retail quantities. They sell and buy these items to and from individual buyers and sellers. Some of these retailers even repair spoilt pieces of old jewelry.

wholesalers in this house are A. Cohen Company, the Company of Allan Leviatte, Bernards Jewelry, Boston Gems, New England Gems, Cambridge Watch and jewelry Buyers, and R. S. Nazarian Jewelry Manufacturer. These are the main businesses manufacturing, buying and selling jewelry in large amounts. As observed above, they handle varying precious items.

The main entrance of the house is open to the public from eight up to six in the evening. This is normally the case from Monday to Saturday, but not Sunday since this house is closed. However, every business has its own official opening and closing time which can be obtained through directly contacting the owners of these businesses.

It is easy to get to this building, in case one wishes to go there. If the visitor will be using a personal car, there are enough parking spaces in each block, and so parking should not worry anyone. It is also easy to get there using public vehicle. Every driver knows the place.
