By Anita Ortega

These books unravel different activities, mission and challenges faced by the organization as they try to ensure justice is upheld against terrorism and different criminal acts. The name is an heavy weight since justice and freedom is what every individual and all countries are in need of FBI books and they do their best to see that their mission is achieved.

The world at large faces different crimes at different levels, some being internal while other are external. It is therefore necessary to have a body that can deal with these vices. This is to ensure that peace, national and individual rights and freedom are realized. The issue of crime and insecurity are major threats.

There are several instances of terrorism and crime that tend to disturb peace order among different nations and the FBI has been obliged with the power and mandate to protect and defend US against terrorist and other foreign intelligence threats. The Al Qaeda led by Osama bin Laden caused havoc in the US and other nations who try to go against them.

Just like any other organization, the FBI has set mission which they try to their level best to ensure that they are achieved. These missions include upholding and enforcement of the criminal laws of US and offering leadership and criminal justice to the municipal, state, international agencies and partners. This is evident that is an international affair.

The organization plays different roles which are of great importance to the US and different countries that need their help. These responsibilities include conducting investigations on international and domestic terrorism, foreign counter intelligence, cyber crime and kidnapping plus other diverse crimes that disrupt human coexistence. It is through these roles that we can realize stability in terms of security and the well being of the state.

The organization has several departments that help it in its day to day activities. These include the linguistic department, the special agents department and hostage rescue team department. The linguistic department plays a vital role in the reporting, analyzing and transcription of materials with national security ramification. The special agents deals with the protection and defense of US against terrorist and foreign intelligence threats, it also upholds and enforce the criminal laws of united states. The FBI hostage rescue team is a national level counter terrorist unit that offers a variety of specialized tactical options for hostage crises.

All the crimes committed have negative impacts on both developing and developed nations. Some of these include destruction of different structures leading to retarded growth in developing countries and social relations among the countries. A lot of resources that can be used for other development tasks is wasted in dealing with insecurity which is a major problem. This expresses the need and concern for unity and cooperation among different nations globally in the war against insecurity and various crimes.

Different obstacles have led to the different crimes of terrorism succeeding but measures have been put in place by the FBI to counteract these vices. The major problems arise as a result of misuse of power by leaders who pretend to focus on security matters yet in real sense they are involved in terrorism and criminal activities. The issue of security calls for collective responsibility of everybody and law enforcers.
