In the Monastery Kai acknowledges other Masters of Spinjitzu and with them he starts his first conquest to find all the four Golden weapons, the Sword of fire, Nunchucks of Lightning, Shurikens of Ice and the Scythe of Quakes.
In the course of becoming the most evil super villain he comes across three little sisters, who want him to become their dad. Gru experiences something that he never did, that is love. The old man is found to get soften with the entry of the three girls in his life and starts to change from what he was before to what he had to be grown up to.
The minions are very loyal to Gru and Doctor Nefario, always willing to help him in all the evil plans, but are very friendly and fun loving at the same time. The minions are skilled enough to build weapons, operating the weapons, use computers and they can even drive.
It is full of fun and adventure and the entire family could enjoy it. In the later segments of the series, the minions are found to get converted into evil minions or purple minions by a villain name El Macho, Gru and his daughters then go on to save them and bring them back to real life.
Later in the series he gets the Elemetary Blade which also allowed him to increase his elementary Fire skills too. Later Kai and his friends come into contact with the Techno Blades. He and his friends are also known to have a Blade that can destroy ghosts, Aeroblade.
