By Mark King

Individuals often go through difficult challenges throughout a lifetime. One of the only ways to get through these moments is to consider what you have been through and use the experience as a motivating force to become stronger, mentally and physically. After a husband's sudden and unexpected death, a former CEO at Facebook and author is now sharing the techniques used in the recovery process known as codestiny Sheryl Sandberg.

In any case, the codestiny movement and website, regardless of the type of tragedy or trauma has helped large numbers of people recover from these incidents. While losing a spouse is one of the most difficult things on earth, there are also other types tragedies and losses in which Ms. Sandberg's work can be useful. For, codestiny applies to anyone whom has experienced any kind of tragedy or trauma.

When it comes to codestiny, the individual makes all the decisions with a clear mind. In addition, getting rid of people around an individual whom promote negativity can often be essential in healing emotional scars left over from trauma. For, it is often easy to recognize when individuals are in a friendship or relationship solely for personal gain.

Good hygiene, yoga, meditation and regular exercise routines are also mechanisms which can help in the healing and recovery process. For, in staying fit in body, mind and spirit, it can often be easier to determine negative influences from those which are positive. Whereas, these can also be great methods in letting go of anger, resentment and disappointment.

When going through something difficult, it helps to be involved in an activities, hobbies, or at the very least a support group. For, by focusing on something other than the pain, individuals become focused on the activity or hobby. Whereas, if in a support group, it can often be beneficial to hear how others have handled these situations. For, it can often be interesting to learn how others overcame the same or similar challenges in life.

People whom are active and participate in community events often interact with others more comfortably than those whom stay at home. In addition, people whom get out and network at various events are more likely to obtain a job or start a career. For, in meeting other people, individuals can often learn about a number of different opportunities whether related to jobs, community, lifestyle or services in the area.

Exercise and networking with others also have other benefits. For, not all people can experience a complete recovery after trauma. As such, many of these individuals often have fits or panic attacks at the slightest mention of the event. While this is the case, when those people start to embrace whom they are now from who they were then, the fits and panic attacks often fade in time.

Most people, once having overcome a tragedy or trauma sometimes feel that it is necessary to give back to acquaintances, friends or community members and organizations whom provided help during difficult times. While most often not expected, the mere act of giving back can actually calm the body, mind and soul. As such, doing so can also be a major part of the healing and recovery process.
