Tips On How To Stop An Assailant Before He Can Injure You

By Kent C Wermer

Just while I was inspecting my 1/2 oz. 18 percent Wildfire pepper spray, somebody else suddenly grabbed me from the rear, encircling my waistline as well as holding my left arm. I yelled as well as fought to be let loose. Fortunately, I got the key ring of this particular key chain self-defense spray around my own finger, so it didn't slip the minute I stomped on his foot. He shouted and let go of me.

I staggered and turned around, my very own non-deadly device all set for release. I managed to aim the hot pepper spray in his face, and did he bellow in pain once again soon after a two-second blast. They claimed it was a fast-acting defense spray due to the high OC (oleoresin capsicum) formulation. And I confirmed it.

The man's eyes closed. He rubbed his face, apparently because of a burning sensation towards the skin. He groped around, and went into an awful coughing fit. I could picture the heat my aggressor must have experienced the moment the pepper grains started sinking his own skin.

He was on his own knees, still holding his upper body, the second I made a decision to leave the crime scene. I had been advised the results would be experienced for half an hour or so, and there was nothing to worry about since self-defense spray leaves absolutely no irreversible damage.

The body's reaction to a strong pepper spray, this one being rated at 3 million Scoville Heat Units, is a lot quicker and also much more intense when compared with normal. Mine's pepper is absolutely pure as well as food-grade, that makes it risk-free as a defensive tool.

If I had not been checking the tiny self-defense spray, it would have been concealed inside my own hand, still permitting me to catch my very own assailant off guard.

Self-defense sprays which are small but powerful make a handy combination. I do not have to spray a whole lot for the desirable results to occur and stop violent behavior.

I'm certainly grateful to my sibling for giving me the Wildfire spray as a birthday gift. Right now, I feel much safer about going out of the house as well as going for walks in the dark.
