Many people term the practice as disrespect to the deceased but it replicates the same process that a buried body undergoes with time. With time the buried body decomposes and ends up in ashes just as burning the corpse will do.

The process follows some certain legal procedures. Some funeral homes have places to do the burning while others do not have. As soon as the body is removed from the mortuary it should be taken to the furnace where it is heated at high temperatures until it changes to thin sand like ashes.

According to the law, the family of the deceased should secure the death certificate and the permit to burn the body for the body to be let out of the funeral home or mortuary. The authorization form will be accepted if all the members of the family agree with the decision. When in the mortuary the body is just cleaned but no makeup is done on it.
