Will The Antichrist Be A Muslim

By Mollie Burton

The identity and origin of the famous antichrist has been a question that has been on the minds of many religious believers simply. This man is known as one of the future leaders of the world who will woo the people into believing his own brand of ideology and will eventually bring suffering later on. One of the theories of this man is will the antichrist be a Muslim or not.

Of course many books have came out with facts that would back up this theory. Many Bible writers and scholars got this theory from the fact that radical Muslims have a goal to conquer the world. So it is also a theory that since the radical Muslims want world domination, then the antichrist probably is someone who is from an Islamic faith.

Philip Goodman was one of these authors and his book became one of the most well known of all. Now this writer was known to only make references that came out straight from the Bible verses and from history which made his text valid. One of his strongest arguments would be the one that says that the evil leader will come from an Eastern region of the former Roman empire which is actually somewhere near Iraq.

He also backs it up by quoting Micah chapter five verse five which states that when the times are ending, the Assyrians would try to take over Israel. Now the land formerly known as Assyria is actually now Iraq. So in a sense, the leader, who is supposedly Assyrian, would come from Assyria which is now known as Iraq and is an Islamic nation.

Of course one cannot only look at the Bible as a full reference but would have to see what the Muslims say as well. Now to do this, one has to take a look at what the Quran says as well. In the Quran, one can see that Muhammad did say something about this man and called him the Masih ad Dajjal.

Now the Masih ad Dajjal is the man who would be ruling the earth for many years before the upcoming Judgment Day. He is known for his blind right eye and his ability to be able to perform miracles. However, he would eventually be struck down by the Messiah during the final hour.

Now if one would put the book of Revelation together with the Quran, one can actually see a lot of similarities. One of the minor differences would actually be that according to the Muslims, the Dajjal would be originating from Khorasan instead of Iraq. However, one can see that these two lands are actually very close to each other and would still point out to him coming from an Islamic region.

So as one can see, there are actually two books that would point out that this leader is a Muslim. It is because of these arguments that many would think whether the antichrist be a muslim or not. Both the Quran and the Bible state many things about this leader, but one thing that is sure is that he definitely shall be brought down.
